Many talk about the over emphasis on testing in schools today. Some schools have cut the Arts and PE programs to accomodate for testing. ACEL has attempted to accomodate test preparation and extra curricular activities for our students. Testing will demonstrate how effective we have been.

This year we have made major changes in the educational program and added professional development for our staff enhance instructional rigor. We made intentional efforts to align all changes with our core mission, “all students will have the best opportunity to learn for future success”. Along with all our academic efforts this year we have students serving internships and other students operating businesses. We have been very diligent to provide all students with an opportunity for success.

We need your help, each student must do their best and focus on completing each test. Testing periods will consist of long periods of concentrated mental effort to guarantee succes. We need all students present each day. Please make every effort to be at school before 8:45am. Also, please students and parents you will need more sleep and better eating habits to have the energy you need to be successful.

The ACEL staff have done their best, now we are asking you, our fellow Sharks, parents and students to be prepared to do your best. Together we will demonstrate the value of the ACEL Mission and our success will be demonstrated in tremendous growth in test scores.

Do your BEST on the TEST and we will show the REST our Success. Let’s Go Sharks!!!!
